Can the team fight against dopplegangers?
Melmoth has summoned the Monster League of Evil and if Frankenstein and his soldiers manage to defeat them, they're not the worst of Melmoth's plans.
This story is about to conclude and does it in a solid way.
Steve Orlando offers a new installment that plays with the cliffhanger of the last one with the appearance of the obscure Monster League of Evil and is just fun. Is the kind of stuff that you would expect from Orlando, implement old concepts in a sort of Grant Morrison way and even connect them to ideas that Morrison himself created.
There's also solid character work concerning everything that has been happening since all of the members of the cast deal with their own problems and the interactions between all of them are nicely done. I especially like the inclusion of Batwoman here since she's pretty fitting. The plot progresses decently and provides an interesting cliffhanger.
Amancay Nahuelpan delivers the art and is good looking with expressive and detailed characters, surprisingly beautiful for a book about monsters as well.
Good read, hope the ending is satisfying.
