Some thoughts about Transformers #8

Who's protecting the fallen Cybertronians?

Cyclonus is currently under attack and he doesn't understand why meanwhile Megatron will try to expand his influence around the planet.

Another slow chapter but it does contain key elements.

Brian Ruckley delivers a new installment where he focuses on a few major players. Cyclonus is given a bigger role in the story and this allows for a more revealing insight about his character and history which is something I greatly appreciate considering that not all the members of the cast are getting this kind of treatment. Also, this segment introduces Flame War and, as a Transformers fan, I'm glad to see her in this continuity.

The plot once again doesn't progress much but there's quite a bit of worldbuilding with Megatron meeting a pretty important character while his plans are being developed in a logical way due to recent events caused by his own people and the investigation itself is starting to show more interesting aspects.

Anna Malkova, Angel Hernandez and Beth McGuire-Smith share the pencils and they all maintain a consistent style during most of the read.

Solid issue, hope things pick up from here.
