What is Naomi's future?
Naomi has finally learned the truth about her parents disappearance and she will have to face the person responsible for it but this is only the beginning for her.
This series comes to a conclusion and while I feel like it was lacking in content, inconsistent and didn't really tell anything particularly original, it was enjoyable as a whole.
Brian Bendis and David Walker close the door on this character now by making her clash with one of her biggest enemies. The revelations here are nothing shocking due that the presence of a bigger threat was always there but still the writers do a decent job at making the antagonist imposing enough while at the same time promising a bigger role for him in the future, whatever that means is yet to come.
I guess the biggest aspect that we can take away from this issue and series is the character work and it definitely gives Naomi a sense of closure towards the end due that most of her questions are answered and shows a lot of hope for her part in the DCU. The interactions were solid and the tone was cheerful towards the end.
Jamal Campbell handles the art and is still gorgeous thanks to his vibrant style that makes every scene memorable, is definitely one of the best looking issues this week.
Overall, not a bad series but it could have been better. Hope that the upcoming Naomi 2 book improves a few things.
