Can Catwoman save her loved ones?
Creel's plans have come to fruition and she's ready to destroy everyone in Selina's life and to stop that from happening Selina will have to put her own life at risk.
Another chapter that has a surprising amount of content this time.
Joelle Jones offers a new installment where she plays with the ramifications of the last one concerning Creel's actions. The way how things escalate is really well-handled because the cast has admitedly grown on me and thus their fate becomes a big concern here which is also reflected on Selina, the action scenes are pretty intense and further segments show that Creel is becoming more and more despicable even with her own family.
Also, this issue had much more bang for your buck than previous ones. Jones usually focuses mostly on cinematic action scenes and while there's action here, the plot progression is the bigger focus which makes this a more satisfying read as a whole. If I had a complaint it would be that they keep forcing the Year of the Villain final page and is just too repetitive at this point.
Jones herself, Hugo Petrus and Fernando Blanco share the pencils and the result is a beautiful installment with great storytelling and a quite distinctive tone.
Good read, hope things stay this way.
