Is Batman Vs. Batman.
Thomas has taken Bruce to a place where he believes he can help his son but what he doesn't know is that Bruce doesn't really need him to be better.
Gotta admit, this was a pretty satisfying issue.
Tom King offers a new installment where he focuses on the relationship between Bruce and Thomas and works really well because of it. The characterization is pretty solid due that, despite that King uses his typical tick of revealing melodramatic details about a person's past, they're actually pretty fitting here to convey the father/son dynamic that these characters are having and give us a bigger insight about how different Thomas and Bruce actually are.
Also, one of the things that makes this better than previous chapters is that this one actually had genuinely solid content. There's the character work I already mentioned but there's also plot progression because Bruce realizes who he is and what needs to be done to continue which prepares us for the final battle against Bane.
Mikel Janin handles the art and is beautiful as usual thanks to his strong storytelling and clean style.
Good read, not sure what to expect next though.
