How can Wonder Woman fight against passion?
Atlantiades' magic has finally turned against them and now is up to Diana to figure out how they can escape this situation but even then, their problems are just starting.
First of all, what's up with this cover? Is beautifully drawn don't get me wrong but Steve doesn't appear at all in this issue and this has happened before in this arc, something tells me that plans changed along the way.
That being said, this issue is decent enough. G. Willow Wilson delivers a lot of content which is a nice change of pace considering how lacking in that regard her early issues were but not all of that is good. The best definitely belongs to the themes explored by Atlantiades concerning people's desires and how they can be exploited in different ways, this allows for a different manner to confront this and seems really appropriate for the character of Wonder Woman.
Ironically enough, the worst parts are the action scenes where Maggie faces a giant Minotaur but this is not much of a surprise since, as I mentioned before, fight segments are not Wilson's strength and sadly that's how the issue ends.
Xermanico's artwork remains amazing though with a really beautiful style that depicts all the characters perfectly.
Not bad but not sure if things are going to improve.
