Some thoughts about Transformers #6

What is the story between Orion Pax and Megatron?

The conflict in Cybertron continues to escalate and Orion is not sure if he should trust one of his oldest friends which could lead to things getting even worse.

Yet another slow issue but gives us a little more insight at least.

Brian Ruckley delivers a new chapter where he explores the backstory between Orion Pax and Megatron. The character dynamic is interesting at the very least due that the writers reinvent the usual enemies as old friends who have very different beliefs and personalities which would lead them for different paths. For example, is shown that Orion seems to have a more calm and conservative mind while Megatron seems initially more progressive and rebellious but at the same time you can notice how the more reckless atttitude of the latter can work against his own ideals. Solid characterization overall.

Plus, there's also solid worldbuilding as well. Codexa is introduced as a being who sees everything in Cybertron and someone who Orion follows a bit too close and most likely will present other developments in the future while characters like the Constructicons are shown as what they're usually not portrayed as: Constructors which is pretty logical in retrospective.

Beth McGuire-Smith handles the art and is decent since it follows the characters and story appropriately.

Decent read overall, hope the next one offers more plot progression though.
