Who is helping Miguel?
The H-Dial has been handled to Miguel by the ruler of the Heroverse and such person has a bigger connection to all of this than anyone is expecting.
This series continues and I'm surprised about how is actually improving.
Sam Humphries offers a new installment where he explores more of the mythos of the H-Dial and creates more wacky scenarios. The implementation of the bizarre transformations continues to be really creative, this time the writer goes for classic 90s Vertigo style to introduce a superhero that you could have easily seen in Grant Morrison's Doom Patrol and there are even a few indie-like characters as well.
That being said, the best part belongs to the character development and plot progression. Summer's background is revealed and shows how complicated her childhood was because of her terrible relationship with her mother and might, might be hinting about other developments concerning her sexuality (which I pretty much see coming since is kinda heavyhanded). The issue escalates nicely and creates a great contrast from beginning to end because the role of Robby Reed, the original user of the H-Dial, is finally shown and makes things pretty logical in context.
Jone Quinones and Arist Deyn handle the art and is really good looking with a pretty vibrant style that is really flexible for the different tones they implement.
Great read, please stay this way.
