Some thoughts about Young Justice #5

Young Justice's history is back.

Tim Drake learned about different realities before but this time he remembers a life that was very precious for him.

This series continues to improve fortunately.

Brian Bendis brings a new chapter where he further explores the history of this team. The ongoing story doesn't progress much, the focus instead goes to a flashback to Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown (I believe this is suited exactly where James Tynion IV left them after the end of his Detective Comics run) where the experience that Tim had with other realities made him curious about a possible previous life of him and this leads to the appearance of the classic Young Justice team with beloved characters like Secret, Empress and Slobo and this makes me really excited about a possible return for them.

In terms of characterization there's also a bit to appreciate here. For example Steph mentions how she was a Robin at one point and this is something that a lot of fans were hoping for. Also, she mentions that Zatanna is... hot which might, "might" be hinting about a possible Bisexuality for Steph? Which to be honest, wouldn't surprise me.

John Timms, Kris Anka and Doc Shaner share the pencils and their work is pretty solid during their respective sections creating a lot of energy and expressions.

Good read, hope things stay this way.
