This is truly the end.
Damian has dragged his whole team to follow his plans even if they didn't know it and now Deathstroke is about to confront him for a last time.
This crossover has come to a conclusion and I believe is a decent one at least.
Christopher Priest and Adam Glass deliver the final confrontation between Damian and Slade and is something that has been building-up for quite a while. There are a few elements that I don't personally enjoy like how Damian became obsessed with Slade because he "ruffled his hair" which is a rather silly explanation for it (Yes, I know that is a symbolism of Slade being patronizing to Damian but is still not the best example).
That being said, the rest works rather well because the moral conflict that Damian had over the course of Glass' run is finally put to test by showing how his background as Batman and Talia's child clash which is nicely put by Slade when he mentions that Damian won't actually finish the job because he ended-up being too much like his father. Is an interesting character development and the rest of the cast also get a decent amount of character work.
The final pages are pretty surprising and it makes me wonder how things are going to continue in both titles.
Carlo Pagulayan, Sergio Davila and Pop Mhan handle the art and they maintain a consistent style over the course of the plot with pretty solid storytelling.
Is an appropriate ending, definitely better than from the last crossover. Now let's see where they go from here.
