Can the Titans survive the world of fantasy?
Mother Blood is about to defeat the whole team and their only hope falls on the hands of a trickster.
Well, I thought this was the going to be the last chapter and is a shame that the proper conclusion is not here since this story continues to drag.
Dan Abnett offers a new installment where he continues the fight against Mother Blood and that's basically all it is, a big fight. Some of the team are being captured mind you but as a whole it doesn't feel like the plot progresses much and worst of all is that Abnett tries to fill the empty spaces with "humour" and let's just say that comedy is not exactly Abnett's strong point.
Mind you, there's a decent twist halfway concerning one of the characters that actually works as a double twist because of what happened during the last issue and I would have appreciated it more if the plot was better.
Bruno Redondo and Christian Duce share the pencils and their work is solid with expressive characters and vibrant action.
Not good overall, hope the conclusion is not too bad.
