The Deathbringers have arrived to Earth and only Carter can stop them but to do so, he will have to remember all he learned over this journey.
Well, this is still pretty much just a big fight but at least there are more interesting developments this time.
Robert Venditti offers a new installment where he continue the invasion to Earth by Hawkman's old allies. Once again, the plot is mostly devoted to action which again, can be pretty predictable at times and for that reason doesn't offer much content in term of story progression.
However, that's not to say that nothing important happens though since Carter realizes that he visited his previous incarnations for a reason and decides to use all that knowledge in his favor to create an admitedly really cool scene where all comes together appropriately.
Bryan Hitch remains in art duties and his work is still solid from a widescreen perspective and again, the latter scenes about the twist were greatly depicted.
Decent overall, hope the next one is an adequate conclusion.
