Some thoughts about Freedom Fighters #12

Is time to re-take America.

The Freedom Fighters attack has been successful and the forces of the Ratzis are falling one by one. Now they just need to get rid of the biggest evil of them all.

Well, this is a conclusion I guess.

Robert Venditti offers the final installment of this series by pretty much delivering a rather predictable resolution. The battle against the Cyborg Overman is finished pretty quickly, a bit quickier than I would have hoped for but still provides a few fun moments watching him fall although I wish the real Overman would have made another appearance and taking down his clone.

The rest of the villains also get a well-deserved fate but then again, I think this could have been pulled off better, it's not bad but it's not particularly memorable. The cast manage to be victorious without any losses and while that is appropriate, it still feels like there wasn't any risks.

Eddy Barrows handles the art and is solid with a good execution of big moments and an intense style.

Decent enough finale for a decent title but I wish things would have been better as a whole.
