Some thoughts about Transformers #7

The murders continue to increase.

Rubble has been the latest victim and now Bumblebee doesn't know what to do anymore which will be more problematic once that he faces the Ascenticons.

This story continues and while slow-paced, it hits the right character notes.

Brian Ruckley delivers a new installment where he plays with the ramifications of the death of Rubble. This event has quickly caused repercussions in the whole community in Cybertron, particularly in Bumblebee considering he was Rubble's mentor, this escalates the already tense situation between the Autobots and Ascenticons even more. The characterization is pretty solid in that regard because it shows interesting developments from the whole cast while they continue to investigate what is actually happening.

The plot itself doesn't progress a lot though since we still don't know who the original murderer is, there are no hints either I believe although the issue does deliver a few plot-points concerning Cyclonus and how his role might be bigger here.

Angel Hernandez, Andrew Griffith and Anna Malkova handle the art and is decent for the most part, maintaining a consistent style.

Decent read, hope there's more plot progression next though.
