Some thoughts about Batman & the Outsiders #2

The Outsiders are on their own.

Black Lightning is worried that Batman is not supporting his team as he should just when they need him the most because the Demon is about to attack.

This series continues and is doing decent overall.

Bryan Hill delivers a new installment where he continues to explore the idea of the Outsiders without the help of Batman. I enjoy the fact that Black Lightning needs to handle things on his own, basically becoming the leader of the group because it really fits the character and Hill does admitedly a good job with Jefferson's voice and portrays him as a pretty intelligent and competent hero.

There's even a bit of a focus on the characters outside of the main cast like Kaliber and Sofia whose relationship is further developed and helps to make you more invested in their fate. Mind you, this comes a bit at the expense of the rest of the team because there's barely any focus on them here.

Dexter Soy remains in art duties and is still beautiful thanks to his expressive characters and vibrant style.

Nice read, hope the next one offers more as a whole.
