Some thoughts about Catwoman #6

Can Catwoman defeat her new enemy?

Creel has manipulated everyone into believing her and now Selina will have to make each one of them see the truth.

This storyarc has come to an end and it follows the same trend of this book so far.

Joelle Jones delivers the final chapter where she puts an end to the fight against Creel for now at least. The conflict between the villain and Selina is solidly done due to the tension that has been escalating between the two all this time. The details concerning Creel's life also demonstrate how much her lies has controlled everyone around her which makes it much more satisfactory when her plans finally fail.

That being said, this is still yet another fast read and don't get me wrong, what we have here is good and well-written but there's no doubt that Jones puts a bigger emphasis on the spectacle than anything else and that's pretty obvious for the multiple action scenes that sadly don't offer much plot progression.

Jones' art is still brilliant from a storytelling perspective, she's great at depicting well-choreographed fight scenes as well as creating solid emotions.

Quick but appropriate chapter, hope following ones are better.
