Rodimus's crew will have to face their old friends.
The people from the Lost Light have been turned into Sparkeaters and Rodimus is decided to make the culprit of all of this pay.
The conclusion of this story is at least following a logical direction.
James Roberts continues to close the door on his work on this series and universe by delivering a few resolutions to the threads he created over the course of the years. The way how Rodimus and the rest react to their friends being turned into Sparkeaters makes a lot of sense from an emotional perspective. The thing is that this only works from their perspective due that the side that went with Getaway doesn't have much of a response since they have been turned into freaking zombies, it would have been nice to learn what made Perceptor, Blaster and Hoist side with Getaway but I guess Roberts mostly cares about his favorites.
The story progresses at a nice pace, escalating adequately to the inevitable end where Rodimus finally encounters Getaway, only to discover he has brought a couple of old enemies that had a connection with all the people involved here. It seems like these plot-points are coming full circle at least.
E.J. Su handles the art and his work is pretty solid thanks to the expressive characters and strong action scenes.
Good read aside from a few issues, hope the finale is satisfying.
