Can the Green Lanterns stop the murders?
One of the biggest threats that the Corps has ever faced continues to take victims and could ultimately destroy them all.
This was a pretty decent chapter overall.
Dan Jurgens offers a new installment where he continues to develop the mystery about this new attack against the Green Lantern Corps. Once again, the escalation is done really solidly due to the well-executed tension that the team is suffering because of the strange murders that are happening. The characterizations works nicely to support that idea due to how each member of the cast reacts to the current events and, while this is a story about the whole Corps, Jessica and Simon still receive most of the focus.
If I have one complaint here is that the story didn't progress that much. I mean, the pacing is solid and the escalation is well-executed but there are not many reveals concerning who is the true culprit nor the reasons behind their actions.
Mike Perkins continues to handle the art and his work is much better this time. He really knows how to depict the somber nature of the story and gives a lot of detail to several dramatic scenes.
Overall, I think the issue is effective but I hope the next one offers more plot.
