Can Wally West stop running?
After failing to stop Zoom, Barry is trying to reach to his family with no result and now he will be forced to let go one of his loved ones.
The epilogue of Flash War is here and works in so many levels.
Joshua Williamson closes the door on this event by giving us great directions once again. The characterization remains as one of the strongest points, particularly when is focuses on both Barry and Wally, is clear that Williamson has a huge appreciation for The Flash history and this is pretty obvious once that he talks about Wally's role in the series which includes strong moments like how people recognize him as The Flash of an entire generation and how Barry even considers him "his hero" which creates a great contrast between the two.
There are also the solid references to the past and future like how New Wally has learned that he didn't exist before the reboot or how the Strength, Sage and Still Forces are going to play a more important role in upcoming stories and of course, the unavoidable appearance of Wally in Heroes in Crisis (PLEASE don't ruin him Tom King).
Scott Kolins handles the art and he's pretty fitting considering his time with the characters. His style works well during the personal and speed moments although his Batman can look a bit...awkward.
Great chapter, can't wait for the next one.
