Harley Quinn's birthday could be her last one.
Every person in Harley's life has just arrived to her party but this could be the worst thing that happened to them once that people who hate her begin their attack.
Anniversary issue and in a pretty appropriate way.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner implement this particular format in a way that makes sense by delivering a story about Harley's birthday and including every character that has appeared in the book so far. The interactions between the cast are the highlight of the issue, particularly between the most well-known characters from Harley's life like Poison Ivy, Catwoman and even Power Girl, is a joy to see all of them reunited and having fun with the protagonist which includes lots of jokes here and there.
And of course this wouldn't be a Harley Quinn issue without the over the top violence and this one is also satisfying in that regard thanks to the multiple action and bloody scenes.
Chad Hardin returns to the book and is able to depict the comedic and gory scenes perfectly along with expressive cartoony style.
The second segment by Paul Dini continues and the development between Joker and Harley is apparently coming to the logical conclusion that will be told in an upcoming one-shot. Bret Blevins' cartoony style is once again fitting for the story.
Quite entertaining, more like this please.
