Aqualad will have to realize which is his true family.
Black Manta has been manipulating his son for his own benefit and now is up to Jackson's friends to save him.
Some solid stuff going on here.
Ben Percy delivers the conclusion of this little Aqualad-centric arc and does it in a satisfying way. The character work is pretty solid, particularly when is focusing on Jackson (although the rest of the cast have their moments as well) since there's a lot of development for his own insecurities concerning his origin and Percy manages to bring closure to the father's plot-thread.
I have a few problems with Manta's characterization. He's pretty much the perfect representation of an abusive father which would be pretty fitting... if we were talking about the pre-New 52 version. Considering that this is based on the post-Flashpoint incarnation who does have a more complex relationship with his own father, this seems a bit off although not the point where it gets irritating.
Phil Hester handles the breakdowns and Khoi Pham finishes the artwork and the result is a pretty solid chapter in terms of storytelling and with a surprisingly more polished look.
Enjoyable overall, wonder where things are going now.
