Cave Carson's family is back in the most unexpected way.
Doc Magnus wants to assist Cave and his team and to do so, he has brought back one of the most important persons in Cave's life.
Another interesting yet light issue.
Gerard Way and Jon Rivera continue their story by bringing a solid and emotional chapter. The character segments are the focus here due to the introduction of an android created by Doc Magnus with the memories of Cave's wife which brings a logical and heartbreaking response from her loved ones. This is certainly the most relevant part of the issue due that it shows how her passing affected her whole family and how complex her return is being taken. A few compelling moments for Cave showing how much he cares for his loved ones is also demonstrated which contrasts solidly with Doc Magnus' coldness (despite that I think he's not really in character).
That being said, the plot doesn't progress too much sadly with the latter part of the issue focusing simply on action scenes that, while entertaining, don't offer much substance.
Michael Avon Oeming's artwork continues to be visually impressive by creating several bizarre and inventive scenes with a great sense of style.
Wish this had a bit more content but still a quite enjoyable read.
