Some thoughts about Stargirl: The Lost Children #3

Who are the missing sidekicks?

Stargirl found herself in a mysterious island in which she will find a group of kids that are connected to her own heroes and to escape they will have find out why their timeline was altered.

Another solid issue although a bit heavy in the exposition.

Geoff Johns offers a new installment where he starts introducing all the concepts he has been teasing for a while. The Lost Children are finally here and they include both classic Golden Age characters along with the new ones that Johns himself invented during his previous works, all of this is pretty enjoyable in terms of fanservice due that these are all heroes that haven't appeared pretty much in decades and create an appropriate connection to the Justice Society of America along with other DC heroes.

Mind you, all of this comes a bit at the cost of delivering a sort heavyhanded presentation due that each of these characters have to explain their own backgrounds which is understandable considering how obscure most of them are but still, is kinda noticeable. The plot progresses at a fine pace though and is slowly being revealed what's happening in this island.

Todd Nauck's art is still quite fitting thanks to his energetic style that depicts every character in an expressive manner.

Good read, hope next one offers more revelations.
