Some thoughts about The Flash #766

Can Dr. Alchemy be stopped?

Barry is still trying to find a way to prevent Desmond's multiple personalities to cause more damage and the answer might be connected to him all along.

Well, this is an ending I guess.

Kevin Shinick offers the conclusion of his little arc and it pretty much demonstrates it was pure filler. The appearance of Dr. Alchemy is hardly as memorable as you would expect (and I can't help but think that Joshua Williamson would have done a better job with him if given more time), while the multiple personalities angle feels appropriate for the villain is not that interesting due that such entities are not are were mostly created to serve as a foil to Barry.

Plus, since the plot is all around the villain, it means that is pretty barebones despite that the amount of dialogue might want to tell you otherwise (and that's something I praised during the opening issue but here it just makes the flaws more obvious). All of this abruptly leads to the upcoming Endless Winter event and yeah, this is causing a trend among DC titles.

Will Conrad's art is pretty good though despite that his style might be a bit too stiff for The Flash.

Passable I suppose and I don't know if the next one will be better.
