Some thoughts about The Flash #68

Can The Flash save Central City from happiness?

The Trickster has taken the whole city under his control and now Barry will have to find a way to free them but it will be much harder than he expected.

This story continues and is still quite entertaining.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where explores more about the triumphant return of the Trickster. The idea of him taking control of the whole city works to a great level due that he doesn't distinguish between the common people from his fellow Rogues, all of them have to obey and admire him. This creates a solid characterization from his perspective as well as Barry's who is still finding a way to help his friends.

Williamson also keeps referencing old stories like how Trickster mentions that "he once pulled a scam on the Devil" which is a blatant callback to the Underworld Unleashed event. Not to mention that a few classic Rogues appear and makes me wonder if Williamson has plans for even bigger threats like the Top.

Scott Kolins remains in art duties and his work is still ideal for this series thanks to his classic Flash style that depicts every scene perfectly.

Good stuff, hope the next one continues this trend.
