Some thoughts about Young Justice #2

What brought Young Justice together?

Cassie is learning more about her own past and destiny and she will be forced to join people she just met.

No seriously, what brought Young Justice together?

I mentioned before how last chapter barely gave any revelations about why the previous status quos returned and this issue offers even less if you believe it. I mean, at first it seems like Brian Bendis is going to give some answers concerning Wonder Girl but such exploration about her background only presents more questions which are not even resolved in this same issue and worst of all is this takes a huge part of an already light issue.

That's not the only problem though since Bendis' dialogue expands the issues even further. We all know the "Bendis talk" and while this chapter presents that, the biggest problem is how such dialogue tends to repeat the same basic conversation and ideas over and over and it only takes space.

The plot? Well, Cassie is reunited with Jenny Hex and Teen Lantern I guess? Characters who by the way, still don't show why they're here at all?

And not even a mention of Conner or Bart.

Patrick Gleason and Emanuela Luppachino's artwork is beautiful though, they do a fantastic job during their respective segments with a pretty vibrant look.

Aside from that, still lacking substance, expect more decompression next I guess.
