Some thoughts about The Curse of Brimstone #11

The curse is about to be over.

Annie and Joe have arrived to confront The Salesman but what they don't know is that his group has more power than they could have imagined.

This is pretty much a set-up but is understandable considering the conclusion of the book.

Justin Jordan arrives with the penultimate chapter where he delivers the final confrontation against The Salesman. The escalation to this point is well-handled not only because of the anticipation that was built-up during previous issues but also because in every page of this one the danger keeps increasing for the protagonists and it even includes a twist concerning the threat of their enemies.

This comes a bit at the cost of the content due that this issue is basically just a big fight. Again, this makes sense because the big finale is supposed to come during the next chapter but it doesn't stop this one from feeling a bit light.

Denys Cowan's artwork is kinda rough but here is fitting considering the bizarre creatures that appear and the battle is still clear enough.

Decent read, hope the last issue delivers.
