Some thoughts about The Flash #42

What is the only solution to save Central City?

Barry believes that he knows how to defeat Grodd better than anybody and now he has recruited Godspeed to do so..

Another fantastic chapter if you ask me.

Joshua Williamson delivers a new installment where he focuses on little details about the characters and progressing the plot. Williamson really knows how to give fans what they want, particularly because of the references concerning Wally, about how he seems familiar to Grodd despite of never meeting him in this continuity and how his connection to Speed Force seems to be based on a spiritual level. This the exact kind of fanservice I was waiting for.

The story moves at a nice pace as well thanks to the different key players and character moments that it provides. There are a few interesting aspects like how Meena might have been influenced by Grodd (which explain her sudden change of character), how Godspeed is apparently trying to be better and how Barry has been manipulated all this time. Decently packed in terms of content.

Dan Panosian handles the art and is sadly not that impressive, at times it looks fine enough but at others it just seem pretty rough.

Other than that, really satisfying issue. Can't wait for the next one.
