Some thoughts about Green Lanterns #43

The Green Lanterns will have to save all the kidnapped superheroes.

Caper has captured many metahumans and now they're under its control and is up to Jessica and Simon to find a way to help them all.

This story concludes and does it in a pretty successful manner.

Tim Seeley offers the final chapter of Superhuman Trafficking by creating an engaging battle and solid characterization. The way how Seeley implements many obscure and silly superheroes is quite enjoyable while the idea of the villain demonstrates to be a pretty interesting one which also contrasts nicely with Scrapps and her Omega Men roots.

The best part is the portrayal of the characters though since Seeley continues to explore the relationship between Simon and Jess which shows how complex their whole dynamic is and even reveals some hidden aspects of their personalities. Mind you, I still hope that they don't go for a romantic relationship but what happens here is well-developed.

V. Ken Marion remains in art duties and his work is still quite good thanks to the vibrant style and expressive characters.

Good read, hope things stay this way.
