Some thoughts about Justice Society of America #4

What are Per Degaton's plans?

Huntress has been trying to protect the JSA from the attack of their deadliest enemy and her own existence in this timeline might be the answer. However, she will have to contact to someone close to her first.

Getting better and better.

Geoff Johns offers a new installment where he drops more hints about what this is arc is all about. The threat of Per Degaton continues to be imposing just like since the beginning of this reboot but this time Johns presents a logical way to actually face him while at the same time exploring some of his motivations about why the villain is doing all of this. Hopefully this will be further developed in the next chapter.

Nonetheless, the best part remains as the interactions between the whole cast. Helena's conversations with the other characters, especially her classic best friend Power Girl, is really well-done and tells you a lot about each one of them. This is also reflected in the fight scenes due that Johns knows how all of them will react in such situation and presents them in a pretty convincing and powerful way despite that the odds are against them.

Mikel Janin and Jerry Ordway share the pencils once again and their work is still pretty good due that Janin makes everything beautiful and Ordway's style works in the more old-school segments.

Good read, can't wait for the next one.
