Some thoughts about Justice League: Endless Winter Special #2

Can the Justice League defeat the Frost King?

The Endless Winter is destroying everything and the team will need extra help if they want to stop it, help that could be very important for the future.

This event came and went and it's pretty obvious the reasons behind.

Ron Marz and Andy Lanning created this filler event just to be a set-up for Brian Bendis' upcoming Justice League run, so they made something worthless for something worthless, oh joy.

The plot, if there's any, is about the final fight against the Frost King and is just as predictable as you can expect with very few actual impressive moments and the antagonist is quickly defeated and I'm pretty sure he will most certainly be forgotten after considering how dull he actually is. As an event, this is even more of a waste than Scott Snyder's crossovers and that's saying a lot.

A few positives are that some of the character interactions are nice and it was cool to see something obscure like Aquaman's Fire Trolls appropriately returning but aside from that, there's very little to remember here.

Carmine Di Giandomenico and Howard Porter's pencils are pretty good so at least the art wasn't a waste.

Aside from that, you should skip this, there's nothing worth mentioning.
