Some thoughts about The Flash #767

How can The Flash deal with this disaster?

The winter is extending through the whole world but most important thing for Barry is if Iris is safe.

Okay, this worked a little better.

Andy Lanning and Ron Marz offer a new installment about their Endless Winter crossover which apparently I should have read before the Superman Endless Winter Special but to be honest, is not like there's much of a difference out of order. The opening segment is still about the backstory of the main villain and I still couldn't care less, again, not badly told but just not interesting enough for me.

More interesting though is the rest of the issue with Barry dealing with the winter and visiting Kahndaq of all places, this of course results in the inclusion of Black Adam and I really like how he was portrayed not as a villain but simply as the leader of a nation who really cares about his people and is willing to work alongside typical heroes despite of their differences. Barry is also well-portrayed here due that his relationship with Iris and how important she is for him is heavily emphasized which is as on-point as you can get.

Marco Santucci handles the flashback sections while Clayton Henry is in charge of most of the rest of the issue and both do a solid job, particularly Henry whose flexible style really fits the book.

Good read, not sure if is enough to salvage this event though.
