Can the members from the Suicide Squad be a minute without trying to kill each other?
Deathstroke has betrayed the team and that could mean the death for the rest of it. Now, Black Manta will need to stop the worlds greatest mercenary while Amanda Waller will need to remember what made her the leader in the first place.
Well, this was certainly a pleasent surprise.
Sean Ryan delivers one of the strongest issues from this series yet by creating a script full of well-executed action and pacing where no page is wasted.
This chapter contains some really good character interaction that feels quite logical based on the members from the cast. Not to mention that it gives Waller her best moment so far after being relegated for a while which felt quite satisfying.
If I had a complaint though, it would be about the art. Tom Derenick is in charge of the breakdowns while Rob Hunter and Trevor Scott finish the artwork, the final product is not that appealing since it feels kinda unpolished at times and it makes me wonder what happened to Jeremy Roberts.
Still, this was a pretty solid issue and one of my favorites.
