What are the differences between Superman and Wonder Woman?
Despite that they have been together for a while, Clark and Diana still have to work some aspects from their relationship, especially the ones considering the supervillains that wants them dead.
This issue marks the arrival of the new creative team of Peter Tomasi and Doug Mahnke, how do they handle replacing Charles Soule and Tony Daniel?
Well, I would say they do it fine but there's still work to do.
Mostly from the writing part. While Tomasi presents an interesting script with some really good scenes that emphasize the romantic relationship between the protagonists mixed with nice superheroic sections, he also has some problems by getting Diana's character right. She's a bit forceful and not really the way how she was portrayed previously in this own title.
Still, it was good to see a couple of villains that I haven't seen in a while.
Doug Mahnke's artwork is beautiful, he has a great sense of scale and is able to capture the most important scenes perfectly.
This was a solid beginning, few complaints but I hope they solve them over the course of the story.
