The most unexpected team-up continues!
Harley Quinn and Power Girl are being transported to another planet after trying to stop some criminals and now they're forced to stop a cosmic dictator. Everything could go wrong at this point.
Holy crap, this issue was hysterical.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner bring a really great and humourous dynamic between Harley and Peegee which makes me wish that the latter becomes a recurring character in this title, is just such a fun interaction.
That's not the best part however, the authors are obviously making fun of classic cosmic themes and stories as well as current ones. For Pete's sake, there's a character called "Manos" and he has a sort of rings of unbelievable power, if you're familiarized with Marvel (or at least if you watched Guardians of the Galaxy) you might recognize which character they're parodying.
Chad Hardin is both at the beginning and at the end of this issue and his art continues to be quite expressive. John Timms is on the cosmic section and I must say that I'm more and more impressed with his work lately thanks to his detailed and fun style, I hope that he also becomes part of this team.
Great story, I absolutely loved it.
