Can Wonder Woman fight blind?
Diana and Max are coming after Count Vertigo despite of Diana's current disability but what she doesn't know is that there's a bigger threat coming next.
This chapter was pure set-up.
Mariko Tamaki continues her story about the team-up between Diana and Max and there are a few things to enjoy here. The dynamic between the two protagonists is once again pretty solid and Diana's loss of sight allows for interesting fight scenarios which explore her training with the amazons.
That being said, this is an overly-short chapter. Count Vertigo ends-up being just a quick excuse to prepare the upcoming confrontation between Diana and Max, is not like I care about Ben Percy's Vertigo but good God, you could have easily used any other character or plot-point to move the story and nothing would have been lost. This issue is over before you even think about it.
Steve Pugh's art is pretty solid with clear expressions and storytelling.
Decent enough I guess but the conclusion better be satisfying.
