How can the Trinity save the Multiverse?
The Batman who Laughs and Perpetua are having the final battle and in the meantime, Wonder Woman and every other person on Earth are trying to fight against infinite ones.
Another chapter where very little happens.
Scott Snyder continues his story that at this point is pretty much setting-up characters for a final confrontation that is definitely taking place in the very last issue (and if I know something about Snyder's work, is that such last issue will be just yet another set-up for yet another story). Seriously, this is just putting several characters in position for the final fight with tons of exposition, it actually reminds me a bit of Heroes in Crisis with its talking heads except that Snyder at least has the good sense of trying to convey some kind of progression in the plot ("trying" being the key word obviously).
Not that there are not any good moments because some of the personal scenes are nicely executed, particularly when the Trinity is reunited and Snyder still manages to include the references to the bigger DCU that I appreciate from these events but still, some substance would be appreciated.
Greg Capullo's art always impresses though with great detail, storytelling and beauty all around the read.
Not necessarily bad but there needs to be more content that is not just narration.
