Can the Martian Manhunter defeat his dark self?
The Mindhunter has caught J'onn and now is up to Hawkgirl to save him. Meanwhile, the rest of the team will have even bigger problems once that the rest of the villains are freed.
This arc continues at a great pace.
Joshua Williamson offers a new chapter where he manages to give the spotlight to the whole cast. A big part of the issue goes to both Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl, and how their relationship works. I have to say that their status as a couple was one of the worst aspects from Scott Snyder's Justice League (which was already full of them), mostly because I see J'onn as a single father figure to the whole DCU and Williamson kinda addresses that in a way but unfortunately doesn't go the full road to actually end the relationship (Mind you, he might be setting that up for the future).
The Titans also get their own segment much to the annoyance of Lex Luthor. There are also the typical Williamson respect to continuity like the use of Comet and how he's connected to the Wonder Woman mythos in a more interesting way. All of this ending in an interesting cliffhanger.
Robson Rocha handles the art and I always enjoy seeing his energetic and pleasent looking work.
Good read, hope the next issue follows suit.
