Can Nightwing lead his own Justice League?
Dick has been reunited with some of their oldest friends but there's no moment of peace since the threat of Starro is getting closer.
Things are getting much clearer now.
Joshua Williamson continues his story with the kind of direction that you should expect from him. First of all, it has been blatantly stated that the characters appearing here are the ones from the main DCU due that they're backgrounds are explored here and this is great because this allows Williamson to exploit his love for continuity to create good character work like Dick remembering how he lost his memories for a while and even more importantly, Williamson using Cyborg and Starfire to retell parts of his frustrated Justice League Odyssey run.
The exploration of history doesn't end there since there are a few scenes where several continuities are gathered like when many incarnations of Dick Grayson are shown including his time as Batman and even his New 52 costume, all of this leading up to a much bigger confrontation.
Xermanico handles the art and is pretty vibrant with a lot of attention to detail.
Good read, even better than the last one.
