What can stop Qwa-Man?
Hal and the rest of the Green Lanterns are trying to stop the forces of the Anti-Matter Universe but not even Sinestro can help with this.
This issue felt strange in so many ways.
Grant Morrison continues his story about the attack of Qwa-Man by going kinda experimental here. First of all, the issue is told from two perspectives, Hal's and the Corps' and Qwa-Man, funnily enough Hal and the others speak in reverse I suppose to emphasize the difference with the Anti-Matter Universe while Qwa-Man speaks in normal manner. I assume this makes the latter the real protagonist of this issue and this makes sense considering how his motivations are explored here which are simple but allows for a strong presence, just like most of Morrison's antagonists.
Even more strange is that Sinestro is present in this issue and he's a, let's say, close relationship with Qwa-Man. I don't know how I feel about this to be honest, I don't have any problem with Sinestro doing this sort of stuff, the problem is that he doesn't really act like Sinestro, he's much more needy and less authoritative than usual. Mind you, this might be a Sinestro from another universe just like the last time Morrison wrote him.
Liam Sharp continues to experiment with his work as well and with less successful results since the storytelling can be messy at times and the style is a bit dark.
Not bad but I hope the next one is better.
