Who controls the Multiverse?
Batman and the rest of the heroes are trying to stop The Batman who Laughs but what they don't know is that everything is part of his plan.
Yeah, if that description isn't clear enough, this is still complete fanboy delusion.
Scott Snyder continues his story where everything is not as great as the Batman who Laughs. Even with all the different villains that have appeared in the multiple Crisis are present here, they all serve to the Batman who Laughs. Even when everything is already falling apart because of those antagonists, Snyder has to remind us that the Batman who Laughs is the one who manipulates everyone, even the heroes. This is just tiring.
There are a few positive aspects like the references to the bigger Multiverse, a kinda more serious take on Superboy Prime and some nice character moments but they're not enough to ignore the over glorification of Snyder's pet character who is powerful and smart enough to disregard the complete plot (or the little there is of it).
Greg Capullo's art is great though with beautiful characters and fantastic attention to detail.
Aside from that, not a lot happened and I'm not expecting things to get better.
