How can Wonder Woman stop Liar Liar?
The daughter of Maxwell Lord is willing to kill Diana to prove her value and her only hope lies on her biggest enemy.
This opening arc ends in a pretty solid manner.
Mariko Tamaki delivers a new chapter where the characterization continues to be the focus. The origin of Liar Liar is explored showing that he was basically a full-blown psychopath since she was a child while her connection to Maxwell Lord is emphasized, the reaction of Max to all of this seems on-point based on his personality.
There are many hints about future storylines too due that Max has learnt about a particular event that happened in the previous continuity and he forgot about which should create interesting developments considering his role as Diana's ally now.
Carlo Barberi handles the art and he's fine but his style can seem rushed at times and I still miss Mikel Janin.
