How can the Suicide Squad face Superman?
Deadshot and the rest of the team have arrived to caught Ted Kord but it seems like Superman has done the job for them although there's something strange about this whole situation.
Another semi-entertaining issue with the typical issues.
Tom Taylor continues his story about the hunt for Ted Kord in a way that makes sense for the most part. There are the typical fun action moments for the whole cast when they deal with the organization under Kord and surprise, surprise, it seems like Ted was not the mastermind under all these crimes, not to mention that Taylor also got a chance to write his favorite hero, Superman (but not quite) and he does a solid job even though there's obviously more than meets the eye here.
Then again, there are the classic problems like how much I dislike Taylor's Deadshot who continues to be portrayed as basically a typical dad instead of the cold psychopath that John Ostrander cemented which makes him pretty boring overall. Plus, there's also the tiring inclusion of Taylor's trademarked "Rich people suck, hyuk hyuk" moments.
Bruno Redondo's artwork is fantastic though, with beautiful and expressive characters along with a storytelling that elevates the script to new levels.
Mixed thoughts, there are still good moments though.
