How can the Outsiders defeat Ra's Al Ghul?
Black Lightning is ready for his final confrontation with Ra's but the real question is if he's willing to kill him to stop him at last.
Well, this is a conclusion I guess.
Bryan Hill finally brings this overly-long story to a close in pretty much predictable manners. The long build-up for Black Lightning makes him more powerful than ever supposedly but at the same time makes me wonder, what was even the point of it? Jefferson is already a Metahuman and is not like more power was necessary to defeat a immortal yet physically normal man like Ra's. I suppose this was also made to prepare him mentally but at the same time, Jeff didn't change his beliefs at all.
Also, the last battle ends rather quickly and with very little fanfare. In fact it immediately leads to yet another story that is supposedly coming in the next issue and thus makes it feel unsatisfying.
Dexter Soy remains in art duties and his work is still stunning with vibrant scenes and strong storytelling.
Aside from that, mostly a waste and this book should just end.
