Can the G.I. Zombie stop a menace that could destroy everything?
A strange disease is infecting people which makes them want to kill everyone. Despite of how familiar that might sound to Jared he might not be ready for what he's about to face.
This issue pretty much touches a lot of points that were introduced during the Futures End chapter and is doing it in a pretty correct way.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray focus once again in Jared and how he takes his duty of protecting people by any cost. I really like this portrayal, it makes him a pretty understandable and likable guy despite of, you know, being dead.
The rest of the story progresses nicely with every side-character having an important role or moment while adding some sub-plots into the mix.
Plus, there are a lot of zombies which is always good for me.
Scott Hampton remains as the ongoing artist and he continues to impress with his appropriate style and tone that makes the atmosphere much better.
Great issue once again. This series bring so much joy.
