Some thoughts about Green Lantern #11

The Corps will have to stop a mad Guardian once again.

Hal Jordan has arrived to help his fellow Green Lanterns once again but they will need more than that to stop a powerful deity, they will need the aid of another God.

A serviceable ending (if it is) for the initial arc I would say.

Geoffrey Thorne brings all the work he has been doing over the course of this series in an appropriate enough manner. I think the biggest example of this is how he brings the two different segments he has been developing concerning John and the rest of the Corps together due that the group reunites to fight for their lives while John implements his New God powers against the insane Guardian of the Universe. Is the most logical resolution they could have come up with.

Then again, as far as final battles go, this is not particularly exciting. Is not that the fight is bad per se but is kinda by the numbers which is not much of a surprise since action scenes have not been Thorne's strength here. Although there are decent character moments in between that make things flow a little better.

Tom Raney and Marco Santucci handle the art and their work is solid with expressive characters and clear storytelling.

Decent enough, let's see how the next arc fares.
