Some thoughts about Batman: The Knight #2

Bruce's travels around the world have begun.

To learn to become the best vigilante that has ever existed, he will not only learn from the best people but also from the worst which will lead him to work alongside a criminal.

Another solid chapter as a whole although a bit predictable in a sense.

Chip Zdarsky offers a new installment where he explores a completely new situation of Bruce arriving to Paris which also leads to a new mystery surrounding the setting. This continues the good pacing and character exploration of the first issue that explores the mistakes that the young Bruce is making while at the same time introducing important characters in his training like Henri Ducard in pretty interesting ways.

On the other hand, some of the choices seem rather obvious like how to become better at his missing Bruce will have to learn from a cat burgler... and you can get what happens after that. On one hand, it explains his future infatuation with Catwoman but on the other hand, is too in your face for my taste and doesn't reveal much beyond that (and I don't know how to feel about the age difference because I'm not sure how young Bruce is here). Not to mention that the obsession Bruce has about "the mission" while accurate, is also rather blunt in its explanation.

Carmine Di Giandomenico continues in art duties and his work is still great with a very detailed style that follows the story perfectly.

Good read aside from some issues. Hope the next one offers more.
