Some thoughts about Blue & Gold #6

Can Booster and Beetle's friendship last until the end?

Ted and Michael have been forced to fight to the death and now the only person who can stop them from doing so is Rip Hunter but not without some of his secrets get revealed.

This was pretty enjoyable once again.

Dan Jurgens offers a new installment where he puts the relationship between the protagonists to test. The battle between the characters is well-handled, the action and pacing are appropriately executed and allows for entertaining moments. If I have a complaint though, is that while Jurgens understands that these two characters wouldn't ever fight to the death on purpose, I wish the reasons behind were more complex than simply brainwash (and speaking of which, I wish the battle wouldn't have ended so easily with another character simply stopping them).

Despite of this, I did enjoy Rip Hunter's role here due that we learn more about his life and job, is also appreciated that a few new mysteries concerning his family are presented. Speaking of which, there's a lot of content here, mostly character oriented but makes the issue feel packed.

Ryan Sook's artwork is brilliant with a pretty vibrant look that makes every scene pleasent to see, no matter if is a personal moment or a battle segment.

Good read. Hope the last few are satisfying.
