Can Lois Lane uncover the truth?
Lois and Renee continue their investigation in their own different way and they might be getting closer to know who is coming after them.
Not a lot of plot progression but there are a few things to like.
Greg Rucka offers a new installment where he explores more about this direction. Once again, the dynamic between the characters is the highlight, particularly the conversations between Lois and Renee which seems like a natural relationship between old friends (despite that they only know each other for a while... and that Renee kinda hits on her). The political theme is also not as blunt as I was fearing which was mostly because sites were using the "Fake News" buzzword instead of Rucka himself.
There's not a lot of progression in the story though which comes with the territory considering this is a Maxiseries and the plot has to be stretched and there is a decent amount of content but still, I wish there were more reveals.
Mike Perkin's artstyle continues to be appropriate for the book thanks to his semi-realistic and dark style.
Decent read, hope the next one offers more though.
