Lex Luthor has just arrived to Metropolis along with the Legion of Doom and their newfound powers might be too much for Clark to handle.
I guess it was too much to ask for this title to get back to normal.
I was seriously expecting that Brian Bendis would go on with a brand new story after his Event Leviathan ended but I should have known better since Bendis and crossovers always go hand by hand. This time he's implementing the all so lovely Year of the Villain event and the only thing it does is drag the story even more as if the last many chapters were not enough.
There's actually a bit of a progress in the background but there's very little of it since most of the issue is dedicated to the lead-up to the encounter with Luthor and really, the fact that Lex is now an overly-powerful being makes this fight much less interesting somehow.
John Romita Jr. handles the art and is fine enough but seems kinda rushed compared to his better works.
Perfectly skippable, I think I'm about to drop this now.
